2009 has been a year of change for the LNG business and we can expect more of the same in 2010. Demand has weakened in key markets as the economic recession has taken its toll. Will falling costs result in more projects reaching a final investment decision (FID) in 2010? What is the impact of tighter credit? Is the Asian market now a buyers’ or a sellers’ market? The fifth LNG Supplies for Asian Markets Conference (LNGA 2010) will address these and other key issues in depth, by practitioners and key officials in the industry. Following the success of LNGA 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 which attracted a total of over 600 participants from 25 countries worldwide, this year’s conference will provide continuing insights into the challenges and opportunities for the LNG industry over the next decade with an emphasis on Asian markets, which still account for over 60% of global imports.
