Now in its
16th year, MPGC celebrates its success and renown as the longest
running annual oil conference in the Middle East! Returning to
Qatar, for the second time, the 16th Annual MPGC will be held in Doha.
THE MPGC
2008 THEME, AGENDA AND SESSIONS
The MPGC 2008
theme of "Oil Market Fundamentals in the Middle East:
Geopolitics vs Geology" will provide path breaking &
thought-provoking opportunities for discussion. The MPGC agenda will
address demand/supply trends in the global oil markets, with emphasis
on resource nationalism, emerging constraints in both OPEC/Non-OPEC
production, cost escalations in both upstream and downstream sectors,
amidst growing concerns of a global refining surplus and its impact on
regional product balances. The impact of political uncertainties, new
supplies and shifts in buying/selling patterns in natural gas/LNG and
the new world of oil trading brought on by the futures markets, the
role of Oman and widening WTI-Brent differentials will also receive
coverage.
