CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE

PORTSCON 2005

  • Will review worldwide standards on Port State Control in the light of the recent regional Memorandum of Understanding MOU between GCC.

  • Examine how port state control may be used as a regime for self regulation in the Gulf to protect ports, ensure ship and crew safety, preserve the environment and combat oil spills. 

Discuss, debate & engage in a dialogue on critical maritime issues as the shipping industry responds to the demands of the new international ship & port security code!
