The 4th Challenged & Opportunity Crude 2011 (COC 2011), organized by Conference Connection Pte Ltd, was successfully held on 15 - 16 September 2011 at the Marina Mandarin Hotel, Singapore. COC 2011 brought together over 60 participants including senior management, commercial analysts, crude oil & feedstock traders, process engineers, refinery planners, senior planners & LP specialists, sales & marketing managers and technologists from close to 20 countries. The attendees and speakers enjoyed the lively interactive exchange of views and the Meet & Greet networking session which gave them an opportunity to forge new relationships. | Highlights of COC 2011: |

- Over 60 participants representing challenged & opportunity crude industry leaders from close to 20 countries attended the 4th Challenged & Opportunity Crude 2011 (COC 2011).
- Participating countries at COC 2011 included Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, India, South Korea, China, Australia, Japan, Kuwait, Iran, Belgium, France, Sweden, Denmark, USA, amongst others.
- 13 presentations were featured on the COC 2011 agenda based on the theme: Opportunity Crudes: Challenges & Profits.
- Opening Remarks were delivered by Mr Chris Gascoyne, Managing Director, FACTS Global Energy, Singapore and Mr John Vautrain, Senior Vice President, Purvin & Gertz Inc, Singapore.
- A specially designed networking session - Meet and Greet (M&G) was introduced giving every delegate the best opportunity to meet every conference participant!
- Delegate feedback have indicated that the event has provided a good spread of topics, speakers and quality of presentations. The delegate response rated the programme and speakers as their key reasons for attending.
- Industry support from corporate sponsor and table top exhibitor which included Dorf Ketal Chemicals and Baker Hughes.
- Other supporting organizations and Media Sponsors at COC 2011 included Energy Intelligence, Petrofinder, Platts and Worldoils. These companies provided the conference with a good delegate base and synergistic client relationships.
