Founder & Chairman, FGE
Dr. Fereidun Fesharaki is the Founder and Chairman of FGE. His work is well-recognized worldwide for pioneering oil and gas market analysis and studies of the Asia Pacific/Middle East energy markets since the early 1980s.
He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Surrey in England and then completed a Visiting Fellowship at Harvard University’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies. He joined the East-West Center in 1979 and led the energy program as a Director and Senior Fellow till 2013.
In 1989, Dr. Fesharaki was elected a member of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. Since 1991, a member of the International Advisory Board of ENEOS Holdings (and its predecessor companies). He was the 1993 President of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE).
In 1995, he was elected a Senior Fellow of the US Association for Energy Economics for distinguished services in the field of energy economics. In 2002, appointed a Senior Associate of the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. He received the Outstanding Contributions to the IAEE Award in 2012. He was a member of the Advisory Board of VOPAK LNG from 2013 to 2015. In 2014, appointed as Honorary Advisor by CNPC Research Institute of Economics and Technologies in Beijing. Dr. Fesharaki is the recipient of the 2016 Adelman-Frankel Award from the US Association for Energy Economics (USAEE) for his unique and innovative contribution to the field of energy economics. In March 2017, Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) appointed him as a Director of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME). Since 2009, he has been a member of the DME Board of Directors. Dr. Fesharaki has been appointed to the National Petroleum Council beginning in 2008 and re-appointed by the subsequent US Secretaries of Energy ever since.
Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, FGE, USA
Shasha Fesharaki holds an MBA with an emphasis on International Business. He specializes in LNG marketing, and is responsible for providing buyers and sellers with sourcing and placement strategies for LNG and overseas gas consulting activities at FGE.
In addition, he specializes in the Korean market and LNG pricing. Shasha has spoken at a number of natural gas conferences as well as authored numerous reports and studies with respect to the Asia-Pacific LNG market. He also focuses on business development, specifically looking at new growth opportunities for FGE.
Dr Jeff Brown, as President, leads FGE’s oil and gas consulting teams. He works closely with FGE consultants in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
Jeff re-joined FGE from JP Morgan where he was Executive Director, Global Commodities Research/Strategy, working closely with clients globally. He was a regularly featured speaker at JP Morgan events and published widely on energy markets. Aside from his previous management roles with FGE, Jeff also served as Senior Oil Analyst at the International Energy Agency in Paris, where he was co-author of the monthly Oil Market Report. During this time, he developed the IEA’s short- to mid-term oil demand forecasting framework and led research examining oil/gas interfuel substitution. Before the IEA, he was a Research Fellow at the East-West Center in Honolulu where his primary emphasis was LNG Markets East of Suez. Jeff has a Ph.D. in Economics.
Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Singapore
Ms Low Yen Ling was elected as a Member of Parliament for Chua Chu Kang GRC in the 2011, 2015 and 2020 General Elections. She is presently the Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY). Prior to that, she was the Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Education (MOE) from 2015 till July 2020 and the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) from 2018 till July 2020. She had also previously held office in the Ministry of Social and Family Development (2013-2015), MCCY (2014-2015) and MTI (2015- 2018).
Ms Low began her career in the private sector with experience in financial institutions and a start-up venture. Thereafter, she joined the Singapore Economic Development Board and in her decade of service, played a key role in strengthening Singapore’s entrepreneurial landscape and professional services sector. In 2011, she became Chief Executive Officer of Business China, an organisation nurturing Chinese biculturalism, bilingualism and collaboration with China. With her strong bicultural and bilingual background, she spearheaded unique programmes to immerse business leaders in China and deepen young Singaporeans’ knowledge of modern China.
Drawing on her strong ties with the local business community, Ms Low is presently Advisor for the Singapore Business Federation’s (SBF) SME Committee (SMEC) and Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (SCCCI) Trade Association Committee (TACOM). She also serves on the multi-agency national SG Clean taskforce to uphold high standards of public and personal hygiene beyond Covid-19. In addition, Ms Low is Chairperson of the Mayors’ Committee and Mayor of South West District.
With a heart for the underprivileged, Ms Low continues to serve as a board member of the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) where she steers its Student and Parent Education Committee to expand the organisation’s reach and support to low-income students and families. Under her leadership, CDAC and its partners have established more than 20 Big Heart Student Care centres island-wide to provide afterschool care to students of all races. Ms Low also contributes in the area of education as a member of the PAP Community Foundation (PCF) Executive Committee.
In her past role as MOE’s Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ms Low led the ministry’s efforts to strengthen students’ foundation in their learning of the Chinese language. In her capacity as Chairman of the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL), Vice-Chairperson of the Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism, and Advisor to the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL), Ms Low expanded the breadth and depth of public outreach programmes that attracted increased participation from pre-schoolers, youths and parents.
Ms Low also spearheaded the drive to improve communications and public awareness of SkillsFuture, the national lifelong learning movement. These efforts were synergistic with her responsibility as Senior Parliamentary Secretary of MTI where she aligned the government’s SkillsFuture thrust with several Industry Transformation Maps (ITM) to help businesses meet the challenges of a changing economy. At MOM, Ms Low advanced the interests and skills of workers, focusing on older Singaporeans, women and young graduates.
Director for Oil and Gas Division, Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan
Mr. Takeshi Soda has served as Director for Oil and Gas Division, Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE), Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and is in charge of policies for upstream development and procurement of oil and gas for Japan. He has long and rich experience of energy and climate change policy.
Mr. Soda received an MBA in 2004 from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University in Atlanta, GA, USA. He obtained a BA in philosophy from the University of Tokyo in 1997.
Executive Vice President, Shell Energy, Shell
Steve is the Executive Vice President of Shell Energy, a leading energy marketing and trading organization responsible for Shell’s global equity LNG, gas, power and environmental products portfolio. Shell Energy also drives market development and gas advocacy efforts to build global demand for LNG and gas. Steve is a member of Shell’s Integrated Gas and Trading & Supply Leadership Teams.
Prior to the Shell purchase of BG Group, Steve was a member of BG Group’s Corporate Executive Team with responsibility for BG’s global LNG, natural gas and crude oil marketing and trading activities, and BG’s shipping business. Steve was involved in building and optimizing BG’s LNG business since joining the company in 2002 in roles in the UK, USA and Singapore.
Before joining BG Group, Steve worked for Mobil and subsequently ExxonMobil, in business development and trading roles in the UK, USA, Singapore, and Qatar.
Steve graduated from Durham University in the UK with a degree in Engineering and Management.
Executive Vice President, CEO, Natural Gas Group, Mitsubishi Corporation
Jun became Executive Vice President, CEO, Natural Gas Group effective from April 2019, and is now responsible for Mitsubishi Corporation’s LNG business worldwide, managing equity positions of 14 LNG projects including 2 under development.
Jun joined Mitsubishi Corporation in 1986 as an oil trader. His career in LNG business started from 1991, since then, he progressed through a variety of roles in Tokyo and overseas, and has been working to grow the company’s LNG business. Among others, he played a key role in the projects in Australia, Indonesia, Iraq, Russia, USA and Canada.
In 2009, Jun became Vice President, New Business Development Unit. In 2017, he was appointed Senior Vice President, COO for Natural Gas Business Division, he also served as Chief Spokesperson and General Manager of Press Relations Office from 2001 to 2004.
Jun earned a bachelor degree at faculty of law, Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo, Japan and he completed Harvard AMP. Jun enjoys reading and playing golf, and is the player-manager of Mitsubishi Corporation’s triathlon team.

Andrew Elliott was educated in Australia, receiving a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Geology from the University of Melbourne in 1998.
Andrew joined Esso Australia Pty Ltd in 1999 as a Geologist, working on a variety of drilling programs in the Gippsland Basin in Australia. In subsequent assignments he has worked on exploration and production projects in a variety of areas, including Sub-Saharan Africa, South America and Asia Pacific. In 2008 he became a Planning Advisor in Houston supporting the Asia Pacific / Middle East Region for Exploration. Andrew became Geoscience Operations Technical Manager in 2011 based in Calgary in which his portfolio ranged from tight oil development to oil sand mining operations.
In 2014 Andrew became Director of Exploration in Australia with a portfolio ranging from rank wildcat drilling in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, to new opportunity generation for the Asia Pacific Region. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
In 2018 Andrew returned to Houston as a member of the Upstream Organisation Design Team before becoming the Portfolio Manager in early 2019. In this role Andrew was responsible for managing the Upstream Portfolio and for integrating the Upstream Strategy with the Portfolio to evaluate opportunities against strategic priorities and targets. In 2021 Andrew assumed his current role of President, ExxonMobil LNG Market Development in the LNG Global Business Line. In this role, Andrew is responsible for developing and maintaining the LNG Strategy as well as growing and optimising the global LNG portfolio.
Andrew is married with two children, and his interests include, carpentry, reading and travel.
Executive Officer, Senior General Manager, LNG Business Department, Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd
Joined Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. in 1990. He has been Executive Officer, Senior General Manager of LNG business Department, Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. as well as President of Tokyo LNG Tanker Co., Ltd. since April 2020. And he was also the first President of TG Global Trading Co., Ltd. established in September 2020.
He has extensive work experiences in sales and service to commercial customers, including serving as Chief Representative of Asia Pacific Regional Office at Kuala Lumpur and as an invited researcher of Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Keio University in 1990.
Vice President, CPC Corporation
Jane Liao, Vice President of CPC Corporation, Taiwan effective November 01, 2020, is leading LNG Purchase Division of Natural Gas Business, Corporate Planning Division, Joint Venture Division, Accounting Division, Finance Division, Green Technology Research Institute, Refining and Manufacturing Research Institute, Lubricant Business Division, and Low-Carbon Business Development Team.
She started her career as a Chemist at Exploration & Development Research Institute of CPC. She has been leading CPC’s LNG business since 1997 to date and became the Deputy CEO of Natural Gas Business in 2015 and the CEO of Natural Gas Business in 2016.
A trained Chemical Engineer, Jane Liao obtained a master’s degree in chemistry from National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan. In 2013, she further obtained a master’s degree of Laws (LLM) in International Dispute Resolution and Management from the CEPMLP (Center for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy) of University of Dundee, Scotland. And in Oct 2016, Jane Liao completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from Harvard Business School.
Chief Executive, Energy Market Authority, Singapore
Mr Ngiam Shih Chun is the Chief Executive of the Energy Market Authority, which ensures a reliable and secure energy supply, promotes effective competition in the energy market, and develops a dynamic energy sector in Singapore.
Mr Ngiam was formerly the Deputy Secretary (Industry) at the Ministry of Trade and Industry from 2012 to 2018 where he helped shape Singapore’s industrial and economic policies. In 2016, he co-led the Secretariat for the Committee on the Future Economy to develop key strategies to generate economic growth and create good jobs for Singaporeans.
He has held various appointments in the Emeritus Senior Minister's Office, the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports and Ministry of Home Affairs. Mr Ngiam is currently a board member of the Energy Market Authority, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and St Andrew’s Community Services.
He holds a Master’s degree in Science (Financial Engineering) from National University of Singapore in 2002 and a Master’s degree in Science (Management) from Stanford University, USA, 2006. Mr Ngiam was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2016.

Dr. Zheng Hongtao, President of ENN Natural Gas Co., Ltd. / Chairman of the Management Decision Committee of ENN Energy Holdings Limited
Dr. Zheng joined ENN Group in 2019 as President of ENN Energy Trading Sector and Chief Gas Business Director of ENN Group and was appointed the current positions on Sep. 14, 2020. Prior to joining ENN, Dr. Zheng worked with CNOOC Gas & Power Group, China’s largest LNG importer, successively as Head of Strategy & Planning, Manager of LNG Spot Trading Department with CNOOC Petrochemicals Import & Export Co., Ltd., and Executive Deputy General Manager with its Trading Company. As a pioneer of international spot LNG trading in China, he has extensive experiences in energy planning, international LNG procurement and trading, LNG shipping, domestic gas sales and assets M&A.
Dr. Zheng holds a bachelor’s and a doctor’s degree in power engineering and engineering thermophysics from Tsinghua University, obtained in 1999 and 2004 respectively.
Managing Director, Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited
Mr Sonk is the Managing Director of Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited (Kumul Petroleum), formerly National Petroleum Company PNG Holdings Limited.
Since his appointment as the Managing Director of NPCP in January 2013 and transitioning through to Kumul Petroleum, Mr Sonk has been the driving force behind building the Kumul Petroleum Holdings Ltd (formerly NPCP), where the highlight has been the successful legislative reforms that has led to the birth of Kumul Petroleum as Papua New Guinea’s National Oil and Gas Corporation. The legislation now gives the NOC a strong foundation to grow and move forward.
Mr Sonk has over two decades of experience as a Papua New Guinean leader in the oil & gas industry. His career matured with the industry itself maturing from being an oil exporting country to now LNG exporter.
He has occupied numerous leadership roles in the Petroleum Industry of PNG since beginning his career with Chevron Nuigini Pty Ltd in 1997. These roles include Director – PNG LNG Project at IPBC, Chairperson of Society of Petroleum Engineers (PNG Section) (2011), Technical Manager at NPCP (Kroton), Drilling & Completions Engineer at Oil Search Head Office, Sydney, Drilling Rig Operations Supervisor, Field Coordinator - PNG to QLD Gas Pipeline Project FEED Team (2005) and Petroleum Engineer for Chevron.
Mr Sonk continues to be a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (Worldwide), and Institute of Engineers PNG.
Mr Sonk holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Mining Engineering) from the University of Technology, Lae, Papua New Guinea; a Diploma of Business (Business Management) from the Melbourne Business School, Mt Eliza Centre for Executive Education, Australia.
Executive Director MOL (Europe Africa)
Suryan has been working in the energy and maritime industry for over 30 years and is currently the Executive Director at MOL Europe Africa based in London where he focuses on developing and running the LNG, Offshore and decarbonisation business in the Atlantic basin.
Before rejoining MOL in 2021 he spent 4 years working at Golar LNG as Executive VP focusing on business development in LNG to Power project across the world. Prior to this he headed up MOLs LNG chartering and FSRU business developing activities first in London and then as General Manager in Singapore.
In his career he has also worked for BP, Enron Europe, the Ultramar & Ultragas Group of companies as well ExxonMobil in a variety of roles including LNG chartering, ship financing, operations, business development, gas trading, origination, tanker shipping and chemicals marketing.
He graduated with an MBA from the London Business School where he focused on strategy, finance and entrepreneurship and holds a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
President & CEO, Tellurian Inc
Octávio Simões was named President and CEO of Tellurian Inc. on November 30, 2020.
Previously he was an EVP, LNG Marketing and Business Development and a member of the Executive Committee at Tellurian engaged in all aspects of the LNG industry.
Before he joined Tellurian, he was President and CEO of Sempra LNG & Midstream where he was responsible for all LNG and natural gas midstream activities, including the company's efforts at Cameron LNG, Energia Costa Azul LNG and Port Arthur LNG. Prior responsibilities include business development, acquisitions, engineering and construction, operations and asset management in power generation, as well as financial and strategic planning.
Simões has degrees in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and from the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth, and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Massachusetts. Simões is a native of Lisbon, Portugal.
Senior International Vice President, LNG, Gas, Renewable Power & Emissions, PetroChina International
Keith rejoined PetroChina with global responsibility for building its LNG, gas, carbon, & renewable power business outside of China. Initially based in Singapore he has now moved to London.
Prior to rejoining PCI he served as both an Executive Board Member and Chief Commercial officer of Uniper SE. Whilst also holding the role of CEO of Uniper Global Commodities.
Previously he successfully developed Petro China’s marketing and trading in Global LNG and carbon from London. Expanding its presence in downstream gas, and power across EMEA.
He developed GM&T international marketing and trading business. Serving as a key and long standing Executive Committee member whilst holding several external Board level positions. Leading GM&T exceptional rapid growth in commodity, geography, and profitability.
Previously working for Royal Dutch Shell in a variety of roles over 15 years.
Head of Global LNG Origination & Market Development, Shell Energy
Mehdi Chennoufi is the Head of LNG Origination & Market Development based in London. He is responsible for developing Shell’s global LNG term portfolio.
He started his career with KPMG in the early nineties where he got acquainted with the rigour of economic analysis and the art of interpreting accounts. He then joined Shell in London at the turn of the century and focused on gas and LNG business development in Levant before moving to Egypt to grow Shell’s CNG and LDC footprint. In 2004 he was appointed as the Shell shareholder representative in Oman LNG, based out of the Dubai office and in 2008 he moved to the LNG Supply and Trading business looking after Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
In 2010, Mehdi was appointed General Manager LNG Origination and Business Development for the West Region covering the Middle East, South Asia, Europe, Africa and South America and in 2016 he moved to Singapore to lead the East of Suez portfolio. In 2021, Mehdi moved to London to lead the global LNG Origination and Market Development team.
Mehdi holds a Masters in Economics and a Master in Business Administration from ISG in Paris and the University of Oxford. Besides being an avid sailor, he is passionate about biodiversity conservation and founded Wanakaset.org.
Vice President, LNG Strategy and Communication, Cheniere Marketing Ltd
Dr. Andrew Walker is the Vice President for LNG Strategy and Communication for Cheniere.
He is located in London and is responsible for the LNG Strategy and Market Outlook of Cheniere, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer.
Until October 2015 he was Vice President for Global LNG - and prior to that Head of LNG Strategy - at BG Group where he worked for over 20 years before joining Cheniere.
During his career in LNG, he has been located in Singapore, Egypt, the USA and UK and has worked on numerous LNG projects including Atlantic LNG in Trinidad and Tobago, Egyptian LNG, and Dragon LNG in the UK.
Dr. Walker has a Doctorate in Geology from Imperial College, University of London.

and has previous experience working in Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Cairn India Limited.
Varun is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Graduated in Commerce from an Indian

Vice President, Country Delegate Papua New Guinea, TotalEnergies
I entered Total in 1999 and held several positions in commercial, business and strategy with a focus on natural gas and LNG business. Half of my career was in France, half was abroad. Most of the time I was involved in multilateral negotiations with stakeholders and government bodies.
My last 3 positions
From 2012 to 2015 I was appointed in Indonesia ad Head of the Commercial Division for Total E&P Indonesia, the largest gas producer in Indonesia which produced 2 bcfd (80%) of gas delivered to the Bontang LNG plant (capacity of 22 mtpa of LNG and 1.2 mtpa of LPG).
From 2015 to 2018, I was appointed in Russia as Director of Marketing and Shipping for Yamal LNG project, a fast track project (2013-2017) developed by Novatek, Total and CNPC, the first LNG project in Arctic with a capacity of 16.5 mtpa of LNG and 1.2 mtpa of condensate.
Since 2018 I am based in Singapore in regional TotalEnergies E&P headquarters, covering as country delegate Australian assets (Ichthys LNG and GLNG) and Papua LNG project in Papua New Guinea.
President – LNG and Net-Zero Solutions, Sempra Infrastructure
Martin Hupka is president – LNG and Net-Zero Solutions for Sempra Infrastructure. In this role, Hupka leads the company’s business, commercial and marketing activities related to LNG infrastructure and net-zero solutions.
Most recently, Hupka was senior vice president & chief commercial officer, leading the consolidated commercial, marketing and commercial optimization functions for Sempra Infrastructure, which included LNG marketing, commercial development and the operations center.
Previously, Hupka was chief commercial officer for Sempra LNG and prior to that, he was general counsel, leading all legal affairs related to LNG development, operations and regulatory. He also served as assistant general counsel for Sempra North American Infrastructure, supporting both the Sempra LNG & Midstream and Sempra Renewables businesses. Hupka joined the Sempra family of companies in 2012 as senior counsel in the law department.
Before joining Sempra, Hupka was an associate at Clifford Chance LLP, an international law firm.
Hupka received his bachelor’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University and his law degree from Fordham University.

Farhad joined Commonwealth following a seven-year tenure at Cameron LNG, during which he oversaw the development, construction and subsequent operations of a 14.5 mtpa facility in Hackberry, Louisiana. Prior to that, he had been active in LNG during his 28 years with BG Group. In recent years, Farhad has also served as an Independent Director at ARC Resources Limited, a leading Canadian energy company with a diverse asset portfolio focused on a responsible energy development. He holds a PhD. In Reservoir Engineering from the University of Exeter (England) and A Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Whales.
Taiwan General Representative, TotalEnergies
Having graduated from ESSEC (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) in Paris, he spent 2 years in the French Embassy in Beijing, China, before joining Total in 1985, first in Finance then in the Gas Division.
He was subsequently posted in Japan, Indonesia, where he handled LNG sales from the Bontang plant to Asian buyers and Qatar where he spent five years including four in Qatargas Commercial Division.
After returning to Total Head Office in Paris in 2006 as Vice-President Gas & Power LNG Portfolio, he was appointed in September 2007 President of Total Gas & Power Ventures in China based in Beijing then in January 2017 Vice-President Middle East for Total Gas, Renewables & Power, based in Dubai.
In April 2021 he opened the representation for Total, now TotalEnergies, Gas Renewables & Power activities in Taiwan, focusing on developing liquefied natural gas deliveries to CPC [already > 9 % of Taiwan imports] and soon Taipower, as well as renewable energies.
Vice President, Origination & Business Development, Freepoint Commodities
Sarah Behbehani joined Freepoint Commodities as Vice President of Origination and Business Development in December 2022. In this role, Sarah will be leading the building of Freepoint’s physical presence in the LNG industry.
Sarah is an experienced energy leader with an exceptional global network. Her last trading role was the creation of the LNG desk for Jera Global Market. She was responsible for establishing the overall LNG trading business. Prior to JERA GM, she led Shell’s LNG trading business in the west for 8 years. She led the integration of Repsol and BG’s LNG portfolio into Shell, growing Shell’s trading activities in the Middle East and Atlantic Basin.
Sarah has more than 20 years of experience in Oil and LNG trading and marketing and has served roles in Kuwait, London, Dubai and Singapore. She is passionate about diversity in trading teams and leads the female community in LNG. She graduated with a degree of Mechanical and Aerospace engineering from the US and then obtained an MBA from London Business School.
President and Chief Commercial Officer, Mexico Pacific
Sarah has over 20 years of industry experience, including unique end-to-end commercial LNG project development experience, having successfully marketed and delivered LNG projects from concept through to commercial operations.
She was previously Head of LNG Marketing for the $18.5b Gladstone LNG Project, where she secured the long-term SPAs before building and running Gladstone LNG Project’s commercial LNG desk for close to a decade on behalf of project partners Santos, KOGAS, PETRONAS and Total.
Prior to Gladstone LNG, Sarah was an energy transactions and projects lawyer with Ashurst working on multibillion M&A transactions and project developments in the energy and resources space.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of International Business from Griffith University. She has been widely recognized across the industry through the following nominations and awards: ExxonMobil Power Play 'Rainmaker Award' – Finalist, Managing Director's Award, Nominated by GLNG for Queensland’s Resources Awards for Women – Overall Award 2013, and Queensland Emergent Woman Lawyer of the Year Award – Finalist.
Senior Manager, LNG Marketing, Pembina Pipeline Corporation
Scott Atha joined Pembina in 2017 as the Senior Manager of LNG and LPG Marketing with 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with concentrations in the LNG, midstream, and upstream sectors. Scott is responsible for the long term marketing LNG and LPG in the Pacific Basin. Scott joined Pembina from LNG Limited, where he led the commercial development of the Bear Head LNG project in Nova Scotia, Canada. Prior to LNG Limited, Scott worked for Gazprom Marketing & Trading where he led the commercial development of long-term LNG supply and marketing opportunities in the Americas from 2007 to 2014. Before his time at Gazprom, Scott’s work history was primarily in the oil and gas investment banking and transaction advisory sectors. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Mr Will Barker a founder and Executive Director of Western Gas, 100% owner and operator of the Equus Gas Project on the North West Shelf, a 2 Tcf low CO2 development-ready gas resource in Australia’s premier LNG-producing region.
Since the acquisition of Equus from Hess in 2017, Will and fellow Executive Director Andrew Leibovitch have completed development plans that will deliver 2 to 3 MTPA of LNG from 2027.
Commercial negotiations are now being advanced to backfill the existing LNG facilities on the North West Shelf, enabling delivery of new LNG volumes to market at a critical point of time in global demand.

Sid Bambawale is Head of LNG (Asia) at Vitol based in Singapore. Sid has over 15 years’ experience in the natural gas & LNG industry and prior to joining Vitol, he has worked in LNG supply, trading and origination roles at BP, Citi and Chevron based in Houston, London, Singapore and Tokyo. Sid graduated with a BA(Hons) in Economics from St Stephen’s College in Delhi, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA in finance from London Business School.
Deputy General Manager (Gas), Indian Oil Corporation Limited
Ms. Aarti Vohra is currently working as Deputy General Manager in the Gas Group of Indian Oil Corporation and is handling LNG Sourcing for the corporation. She has around 20 years trading and risk management experience in the international oil & gas market.
She has worked in broad and diverse areas such as international petroleum products, LNG trading, indigenous crude oil pricing, domestic oil & gas exchanges, domestic gas marketing, monetization of overseas gas producing assets etc.

James is the Head of Carbon Trading for Vitol Asia, covering the Asia Pacific region. Vitol are the world’s largest independent Energy Trader, active in global Energy markets for over 55 years - a business built on long-term partnerships, a focus on delivering solutions and prudent financial management.
James has more than 10 years’ experience in international carbon markets. Prior to Vitol, James ran Shell’s South East Asian and Oceanian Environmental Products Trading Business. Alexis Aik is Managing Director of FGE Singapore (Asian Headquarters) and Managing Director of the group's gas/LNG research and consulting practice. She has over 15 years of experience in oil/gas consultancy with FGE.
Alexis also manages the group’s commercial practice (LNG Commercial Advisory Service), leading consulting work for both buyers and sellers alike. This includes but is not limited to the formulation of strategies for procurement/sales, negotiations, and finalization of HOA/SPA, price review/arbitration related work, due diligence work for Mergers and Acquisitions, and on-the-job or in-house training. She has worked with numerous International Oil and Gas Companies (IOCs), state-owned gas companies, power companies, and Government Organizations across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
Alexis takes a special interest in LNG contract pricing, and terms, especially in the Asia and Middle East. This led to FGE’s development of the industry's first weekly commercial report (LNG Confidential) and the development of a proprietary LNG Online Data Service (ODS) which is now regarded as the most accurate and complete price database on all LNG contracts. The ODS is used as a marker for price negotiations, hedging by companies, and is also referred to in SPAs for price reviews.
She has presented at several oil and gas briefings/conferences in Asia, the Middle East, and the US. Her work has been published in numerous international publications and research journals and has also been filed in US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) proceedings. Alexis has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and received a US-Government funded Fellowship to pursue a Post Graduate Leadership Certificate (Asia Pacific Leadership Program) at the East-West Center, Honolulu.
