A prelude to LNGA 2020: Join LNGA key speakers for a 60-minute Virtual Roundtable examining how buyers and sellers are navigating the current highly volatile market environment of oversupply and Covid-19 demand destruction. Discussions will be centered around market fundamentals and commercial issues in these unprecedented times, providing key takeaways for market analysts, procurement and origination departments, and senior management.
Critical coverage on:
The impact of COVID-19: Is it temporary, or will it lead to permanent changes in the LNG market?
Before COVID-19, long-term oil linked slopes had broadly been trending downwards. What happens now? Will 10.5-11.5% be agreed in this oil price environment?
We saw S-curves emerge in times of uncertainty before. Will we see a shift to a new pricing paradigm over 2020-21?
How can/will projects move forward in today’s LNG market? Is the self-financing/portfolio sales model still robust?
Is COVID the “final straw” for oil linked pricing? Will we see the emergence of long term JKM-linked deals? Are banks getting more comfortable to lend on a JKM basis?
Will project delays and cancellations lead to a price spike post-COVID?
How is demand evolving given the current pandemic?
Is this just a short term blip and if so for how long?
Will there be some longer term structural demand issues as a result of this pandemic?
Will oil indexation account for the majority of long-term contracts signed over the next few years?
Hear our panel of experts in this Virtual Roundtable, who will also be addressing at LNGA 2020 on November 5 – 6 in Singapore.
LNGA Virtual Roundtable will be held under Chatham House Rule.
