MPGC Week 2018 events were successfully held at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi, UAE from 21 – 26 April 2018, encompassing international conferences, including the iconic Annual Middle East Petroleum and Gas Conference (MPGC) and 7th Annual Middle East Base Oils and Lubricants, two Executive Briefings and two technical workshops. Over 550 participants and 70 distinguished speakers representing leading organisations and global brands from 42 countries attended a total of six (6) events, covering a diverse spread of crude and product verticals, refining, oil trading, LNG, bitumen, base oils and lubricants.


MPGC Week 2018 events, organised by Conference Connection with the support of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, showcased multi-speaker platforms and delivered  intensive knowledge-sharing and premium networking opportunities for both regular attendees and first timers, with an Opening Reception and one Gala Dinner hosted by ADNOC, with delegate interaction enhanced with two networking lounges courtesy of Conference Connection and S&P Global Platts.

7th Annual Base Oil & Lubes Middle East Conference (BLM)

25 – 26 April 2018

The Base Oil & Lubes Middle East Conference (BLM) series is held alongside the Middle East Petroleum and Gas Conference (MPGC), the Gulf region’s longest running annual oil conference. First launched in Bahrain in 2012 with the 20th annual MPGC, BLM was held in Abu Dhabi in 2013, 2015 and 2016, and Dubai in 2014 and 2017. BLM returns to Abu Dhabi in 2018 with the 26th annual MPGC.

Leveraging on strong NOC-MPGC relationships, BLM has enjoyed the patronage and support of the Bahrain National Oil Company, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Emirates National Oil Company as hosts.
