Dr. Zheng Hongtao is President of ENN Natural Gas Co., Ltd., Chairman of the Management Decision Committee of ENN Energy Holdings Limited.
Dr. Zheng joined ENN Group in 2019, serving as President of ENN Energy Trading Sector and Chief Gas Business Director of ENN Group. He was appointed President of ENN Natural Gas Co., Ltd. and Chairman of the Management Decision Committee of ENN Energy Holdings Limited on Sep. 14, 2020.
Previously, he worked with CNOOC Gas & Power Company as Head of Strategy & Planning, with CNOOC Petrochemicals Import & Export Co., Ltd. as Manager of LNG Spot Trading Department, and with CNOOC Gas & Power Group’s Trading Company as Executive Deputy General Manager. He has extensive experience in international and domestic gas trading and risk management.
Dr. Zheng holds a bachelor’s and a doctor’s degree in power engineering and engineering thermophysics, which he obtained in Tsinghua University, respectively in 1999 and 2004.
